Telangana Chicken

Collect it:
350 gms Chicken
2 Tbsp Oil
Curry Leaves
2 Onions, thinly sliced
2 Tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder
1 Tsp Salt
1/2 Cup Water
1 Tsp Garam Masala
Coriander Leaves
A dash of sour lime
To Make Masala Powder
1 1/2 Tbsp Coriander Seeds
1 Tsp Poppy Seeds
1 Tsp Cumin Seeds
2 Tsp Peppercorn
10 Red Chillies (tone this down to cut the heat)
2 Tbsp Grated Coconut
Make it:
DRY ROAST coconut, red chilies, coriander seeds, cumin seeds,
peppercorns and poppy seeds and grind to a powder and set aside.
HEAT oil, crackle curry leaves. Add onions, and brown them.
Add ginger-garlic paste and turmeric powder and sauté for a minute.
ADD chicken and add some water and cook the chicken. Add the
powder to the chicken and cook in its own juices
MIX garam masala and chopped coriander leaves. Add sour lime
CHECK the seasoning and serve hot.
